Aparrtment Living And Finding Time For My Art

I moved into  a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in a low income area of California. We are fitting 3 people in one apartment and one fucking crazy cat who is getting on my last nerves. I lost my phone while walking around the new area and all of my art is still being sorted through by me. I have been exhausted trying to get use to the new living arrangements.

What has  been helping to keep me sane is art. This doll that you see pictured here is one in many dolls that I create in order to express my feeling.  She is a cloth doll, made from recycled and upcycled fabrics. I created a storybook to go with her.  I make doll because the help me to communicate with the world and share my triumphs and struggles through the story of these dolls.

I recently created a storybook as a commission piece based off another fabric art doll that I created.  I will have photos as soon as camera and phone situation are cleared up.
