Here is just a bit of what I have been working on. I will be posting more when I have more time. My projects as of now involve getting more organized and finishing things up. Spring is definitely the season of renewal and cleansing. I have been spending a lot of time outside with the sun being out more for the past few days and all of nature has been so inspiring to me.
The chirping of the bluejays,the buzzing of the bees,the smell of flowers blossoming and bursting with life. I hope that you all are enjoying your spring season and doing things to honor mother nature !
Trina, I just came from your Flickr and saw your newest completed colored pencil art. It's wonderful. What kind of paper are you using? The colors are so brilliant. Are you doing underdrawings in a base color (i.e. the one above?). I've never had much luck with color pencil but I would love to try it the way you do it.
ReplyDeleteHi Judie sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Thank you for stopping by to see my newer drawings. I use Strathmore Watercolor Paper. I layer colors to get that effect and I prefer prismacolor pencils for their vibrancy.
