Hello All,
Short story about how I burned some polymer clay beads. I got this clay from Japan that I thought was polymer clay. It felt as soft as Sculpy III . So anyway I have a separate toaster oven to bake my clay beads in so I put them in for the regular amount of time and the same heat and guess what they caught fire. Totally flamed up. I rushed the toaster outside and thankfully nothing too tragic occurred.
I was very disappointed of course because all of the time and effort I put into creating these beads I felt was wasted. So I came back to the beads in the morning and all of them are charred. Because I was able to have a night's rest I was able to come back to them with fresh eyes. I have decided to just paint and seal them because although are not their original design and size I know I can use it for this shadow box I have been working. Here are some photographs of the burnt beads and the mixed media shadow box art I have been working.

Hope everyone is finding time to get out and appreciate mother nature. I saw a squirrel being attacked by a little tiny bird that looks like a parakeet. Never know what natures playground will show you.

Upcycling Recycling Art to Express and Relieve Stress

Hello All,
I know it has

been quite a while since wrote here in my blog. I have recently listed a purse I have been working for some time on on my etsy shop.  It is a Conjoined Twin Monster Doll Paper Beaded Purse.

It is hand sewn from start to finish.  Each paper bead is created by me.  And each bead is sewn onto the purse one by one securely.


There is a zipper to enclose your car keys,cell phone, and makeup in i t. 

This purse is a form of wearable art and I hope you find your way over to my shop because I am always creating.

Paper Bead Necklaces And More

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all are having a creative time and getting ready for the Fall Season.  I have been more of a Fall and Winter kind of woman because this time of the year is so very reflective.  I have so many thoughts that amaze me during this time whilst creating art.  I feel  in tune with Mother Earth for sure and the world around me.  The people I meet and the animals that show up can affect me profoundly.  Not to mention the dream world as well. 

Here are some of my latest creations now available on my etsy store.  I have been making a lot of Dreadlock Beads,and Paper Bead Necklaces. The bottle dolls never stop coming as well.  I love the process dearly.

Hello Anyone that is out  there reading my wonderfully scattered art blog.  I recently put some new handmade goodies on my etsy shop. I have been busy with commission work which I will show you all here as well.  A friend of mine saw me selling what I call a hair accessories container which I made from old honey and coffee can.  I used recycled cotton fabric,glued it on, I drew Vampires,and Dolls faces on them, sealed it with Mod Podge  and the end result is this

She asked me to make her 5 of them.  I will post how all five turned out soon.  Possibly tomorrow.
